The other option is a 5.7-liter V8. In this case, 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit creates 360 ponies and 390 pound-feet of torque. The same drive system is used with this engine – AWD, eight-speed transmission with two-speed transfer case. This feature also boosts the fuel economy to 25 mpg with Pentastar and 22 mpg for the V8 engine.

No SRT or Hellcat Durango for the Police

When we read the Police is about to add Dodge Durango to its lineup, we were sure that would be at least SRT model. In the wildest dreams, the 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit with Hellcat engine would be the nightmare for offenders. But, the cost of these SUVs is too expensive for law enforcement and government, and V8 and V6 engines will serve just great. In the future, we could see a limited amount of these high-end SUVs. However, Hellcat and SRT versions could be used only on special occasions and pursuits.
